Project Profile
1. Start-end stake no. K94+680.000——K211+387.908; total length of the line 116.707908 km. This section is a second-grade highway in mountainous terrain; section K94+680~K184+700 and section K191+500~K210+800 have design speeds of 60 km/h; section K184+700~K191+500 has a design speed of 40 km/h; the switch-back curve has a design speed of 30 km/h; section K210+800~K211+387.908 has a design speed of 20 km/h. Design load: the bridges and culverts throughout the line are of highway-I grade. 1. Subgrade works: 1,344,051 m3 earthwork, 906,645 m3 stonework of subgrade excavation, 371,419 m3 replacing and filling earthwork, 1,107,023 m3 utilized earthwork, 698,641 m3 utilized stonework and 1,243,121 m3 borrowed fill.
2. Pavement works: 11 5,528 m2 natural gravel subbase (classified as 16 cm, 20 cm and 29 cm thick structures), 1,062,586 m2 5% cement stabilized gravel subgrade (classified as 20 cm and 25 cm thick structures), 1,012,172 m2 topping medium-sized particle asphalt concrete, 1,021,567 m2 one cm seal coat under bituminous surface treatment.
3. Bridge works: 5 major bridges with a length of 801.23 m, 13 medium bridges with a length of 829.59 m, 31 small bridges with a length of 835.09 m; 235 reinforced concrete slab culverts with a length of 3679.95 m.
4. Tunnel works: 270m open cut tunnel in 4 places.
